1949 Martin 000-28 in good condition with a fair amount of wear and replaced parts throughout the instrument. This is an excellent player grade post war 000, with a few repairs but no cracks that sounds clear and focused in the mids while supporting a full dynamic range. Before arriving at our shop, the original bridge was replaced with a period correct ebony bridge, original bridge plate untouched. Some finish touch up was done around the bridge area, original bridge, pins and bottom strap button are in the case. The neck was also reset, and given a fingerboard refret. At one point this guitar had grover tuners, and was restored with 4 out of 6 of the original tuners and two later Martin tuners on the G and B strings. Constructed with a spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck ebony fingerboard and bridge. This guitar features a scale length of 24.9", fingerboard width at the nut of 1-11/16", thickness at the first fret of .93", thickness at the tenth fret of 1.05", and weighs 4.26 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
